This complete set, (2 males and 2 females) CPC Fuel Line Connectors (Chrome Plated Brass) are made in the USA to last and more importantly, the o-ring is FKM material (trademark VITON), the correct elastomer for fuel . As opposed to the O.E.M., they will not crack in time. Please chose Valved 1/4″ male or Valved 3/8″ male. For owners wishing to replace the standard plastic connectors with replacement metal pieces. The fuel lines on these later bikes have been changed by MV to the PVC lined inner tube. The size and diameter of the fuel connector inserts are still the same as the ones used on the F4 750 and Brutale 750. However the removal and assembly methods are different. The prime issue is getting the original plastic connector off the fuel line, this is particularly hard and requires a great deal of care not to damage the fuel lines. Since the connectors are seated inside the PVC inner sleeve which does not expand as the outer rubber sleeve. Once those are removed to install a new fitting heat the tube with a heat gun on the lowest setting, taking great care not to melt the outer rubber tube, and while doing that widening both the inner and outer layers with a pair of sharp nose pliers until the new fitting can be inserted again – take care not to overdo the widening.
